2009 Edition

This year it’s the fith one for Lago Film Fest. It takes many news: the past is just a starting point for the next step. Again the screen on the lake, again courtyards shows and music back in the corner for nine nights. In the background the croak- croak of frogs. Cinema, to live, to learn, to dream, to spit, to leave: beyond the chair, the lake, the reality. So many screenings, events, famous guests, artists and jurors, a lot of chatting and tasty food. Specialists will lead and take part at appointments and events.
A new set up let the festival jump over the boundaries of Lago, not only to present a variety of films from all over the world, but also hosting the project “Matter of Taste”, in collaboration with NISI MASA, an European net of cinema association from 19 nations, who has the aim to promote fresh-faced cinema.
Besides, looking to a new cinematographic and artistic panorama, less approachable and common, the festival gains a section of videoart, in collaboration with Careof DOCVA (Documentation Center for Visual Arts) of Milano.
