POST PINK. ANTOLOGIA DEL FUMETTO FEMMINISTA – LFF2019
What are stories for? They give our world meaning and broaden our understanding of others. Stories comfort us, move us, excite us but, most of all, educate us. As Michela Murgia wrote in the preface of Post Pink, we need to read and learn about as many different stories as possible, “so as not to become the slaves of a single standpoint on things”.
This comic anthology published last March by Feltrinelli Comics was created precisely out of the need to challenge gender stereotypes, and at last show female characters as the creators of their own narrative. Portrayed as desiring, thinking, acting subjects, and no longer as desirable, thinkable, acted upon objects.
