Lago like the tower of Babel, a melting pot of languages that are polar opposites. We could try to persuade you that cinema and dance have more in common than it might appear, that they flutter in unison or something: the truth is, we like to hybridise and contaminate and see what happens. Dance comes back to Lago and demands new spaces: the site specific performances that interact with their audiences and surroundings and attract dancers and performers from across the globe are joined this year by our first selection of videos and short films about dance, selected through an open call.
